After we left the USS Midway we headed down to the Maritime Museum of San Diego. We had bought tickets as part of a deal when we purchased tickets for the Midway. We were really disappointed in this museum. A couple of the ships and one submarine (B-39 Soviet sub) were closed. We wondered around the Star of India (three mast ship)(Allan is standing on the deck) walked past the H.M.S. Surprise (another 3 mast ship) (an event what going on) and only those attending the event could get on the Soviet sub. We walked around the Medea (someone's yacht). We were able to get on the submarine USS Dolphin and the Steam Ferry Berkeley which had a bunch of maritime displays. There were a couple more ships but they were closed. We felt it wasn't worth our money for what we were able to see.

I thought of my dad when I saw all of these model ships.

For dinner we ate at The Fish Market.
This was Allan's dinner. He wanted to try the mussels. He said they were ok but probably won't order them again.
