August Activities 2021

Here are a few things that happened in August.

We enjoyed the aquatic center here in Heber with some of the grandkids.

Lydia was Baptized.

Dad was able to take a flight in a Stearman biplane 

through Dream Flights.

He is 98 years old and loved it. 

Only complaint was that is wasn't long enough.

We attended Vintage Markets Days here in Heber.

My Hibiscus started to bloom this month!

The flowers are huge and beautiful!

 

Dad's Dream flight. August 17, 2021

Dad was able to participate in Dream Flights which honors WWII veterans with a flight in a biplane. There was a photographer who took pictures of the day and I am sharing some of the pictures here on my blog.

The Dream Flights is a non-profit organization established and dedicated to honoring seniors and military veterans.

Through donors, community support and volunteers, the foundation provides Dream Flights in a Boeing Stearman biplane, the same aircraft used to train many military aviators in the late thirties and early forties.         dreamflights.org

I think these pictures show that dad was absolutely thrilled by his flight on the biplane and to be honored by dream flights.

July Wrap up 2021

We enjoyed visits from Corey, Yoli, Leah and Hailey.

Brady and Colin were here for 2 weeks also.
