Wednesday we visited Timpanogos Cave National Monument.
Our hike was scheduled to start at 10:45. We had an hour and a half to hike up the trail to the caves for our tour at 12:15.
Hiking the trail.
There was beauty all around.
A place to take a rest.
We made it to the cave.
Waiting for our scheduled time for the tour.
Entrance to the cave.
Liam, Keira and Aidan.
This cave has many amazing formations.
That is why there are so many pictures.
It was hard to choose which ones to post.
This is the heart of Timpanogos cave.
Cave bacon!
The Cave tour was really cool. We saw lots of neat formations, including stalagmites and stalactites. Plus we got to experience total darkness. The only other places where that is possible is deep space and deep ocean. Our guide was awesome and let the kids help through out the tour. The grandkids felt pretty special. I think it is something they will remember for years to come.
