August Happenings

Here are some of the fun things that happened in August.

We took the grandkids to Thanksgiving Point
to the Museum of Natural Curiosity.

Logan trying to hang like a Sloth.

McKay having fun just climbing around.

Daphne and Lydia seeing what it is like in 85 mph winds.

Logan and Papa making a foil boat to see if it will float down the water ramp.

Allan got himself in the newspaper here in town.

Can you spot him?

We had lunch with Gary, Barbara and Aurora
while they were traveling through Utah.

Hudson and Jenny finally were able to have their Wedding Reception.
They were married back in May.

It is so fun to watch the hummingbirds at our feeder.

They chase each other away wanting to be the only ones feeding at one time.

We added more curbing to our backyard and now it feels more complete. We have to find some trees and plants to fill it all in and in a few years we will have more privacy when sitting on our back porch.

This past weekend we went to a Vintage Market Days at the local fairgrounds. It was fun to walk around and see lots of old stuff with some new stuff. I did find an old farmhouse white bowl, just like the one Cindy would put on her table during the holidays etc. I have always loved that bowl and now I have one.
