Wasatch Mountain State Park, Pine Creek Trail , June 15, 2019

This was our second hike at the state park. This hike was 3.6 miles round trip and the trail follows on either side of the creek and there are three bridges along the way to get you over the creek. At one point you couldn't continue on one of the trails because the creek  took over part of the trail. We also had to cross over a small part of the creek on a makeshift piece of wood to continue on the trail.
It was a beautiful hike.

At the end of the trail is what is called a Glacial outwash.
As a glacier came down the valley it left this huge pile of rocks where the Pine Creek Trail ends.

  1. I can't believe that you crossed the water on that tiny piece of wood! Very brave. Also another beautiful day for a great hike.
Keep the pictures coming. I enjoy seeing what you are doing. Carol
