Easter 2014

We had a great Easter weekend. Brady and Nathan colored eggs on Saturday.

Ten on Tuesday

1. We got our small garden planted on Saturday. Just some tomatoes and green peppers. 

2. We trimmed back some more plants and fed the roses.

3. We bought a new hose and a hose holder to keep it off the ground and neat.

4. At our monthly RS meeting they had a bread class and we were taught how to make braided bread, easy drop biscuits, blueberry muffins and scones. 

5. I am planning to try the recipe for the braided bread and the scones.

6. Our teacher used a wok to deep fry the scones and since I have a wok that I haven't used in years I am going to pull it out and make us some scones. Allan is excited for me to try that. We love scones with honey butter!

7. We celebrated Allan's birthday yesterday with angel food cake, ice cream, strawberries and whipped cream.

8. I did take Allan shopping Saturday to buy something for his birthday but we only came home with garden stuff.

9. So I went to target yesterday and got him a lego set. He is always happy with legos. A kid at heart!!

10. Terri found him a card game call Spot it. We played it last night. It is a fun and easy game. But you have to be quick to win it! :))

Birthday Boys!!

Aidan's birthday was March 20th and Liam's birthday is April 3rd. 

We celebrated with them on our trip to Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Part 3

On Saturday we headed over to the Children's Discovery Museum. I believe the museum is less then a year old. It is pretty amazing. It has 5 different floors and to get to all the floors you have to climb up the center section that has all kinds of activities for kids to do . We had a great time even though we were pretty exhausted by the time we left. Of course the grandkids didn't want to leave. They would have played forever there!!

Las Vegas Part 2

The boys spent some time riding big wheels and playing outside.

 We celebrated Aidan and Liam's birthdays at Chuck E. Cheese. Here Liam is dancing with Chuck E. Cheese and waiting for some free tickets that are thrown out after the dance. All the kids have fun collecting as many as they can.

Las Vegas

We are in Las Vegas to celebrate Aidan's 6th birthday and Liam's 4th birthday. we brought Nathan with us. Today we went to the park.
