Ten on Tuesday

1. I finally made an appointment to get my haircut. Same style just back to a better length for me. Allan hasn't said anything about it because he prefers that I keep it long. I only had it trimmed up to around my shoulder blades, but I know he is thinking that is too short!

2. We had the Sister missionaries over for dinner one night. 

3. We had our monthly RS temple trip. This time around I had company for the trip. Actually the last couple of months more then just me has gone and that is always nice. 

4. Finally had my blood work done that the doctor ordered at my physical in Jan. I was suppose to be fasting and I kept forgetting and would eat breakfast. I finally remembered when Allan had a work breakfast and I didn't have to make breakfast that morning.

5. We worked in the front Yard on Sat. getting it weeded and trimmed and dead plants pulled out.

6. Allan had a toothache a couple of weeks ago and now he will be having a root canal done on Thursday. 

7. Barney (beagle) got stepped on by Chief (great dane) and now has some badly strained ligaments in his back leg. Which is good news for Frodo (terrier mix) who is now walking with me in the mornings with Chief.

8. I am finally getting back to working on getting all my pictures into my picture program on my laptop. 

9.  I just got asked by the RS committee to give a 5 minute talk at our RS meeting on Thursday. We will be celebrating the RS birthday and our theme is "You are the Gift"

10. Mom, please be more careful. It sounds like you had a scary fall and 4 stitches to prove it.

Ten on Tuesday

1. I am back again. I decided to try blogging, so I will be posting my tens on this blog. 

2. I have some catching up to do. This is up I have been doing the past month or so.

3. A sister in our ward had shoulder surgery and I am her visiting teaching so I helped out for a couple of weeks taking her grandsons to and from school and helping out where needed. 

4. Another sister moved and asked for help painting the inside of her home before they moved in. So I helped paint for a couple of days.

5. We finally decided it was time to make a living trust. We met with a professional and got the ball rolling. It should be all complete in a couple of weeks. 

6. We should have done this years ago but never did get around to it. Glad we did and happy to be working with a great company.

7. I finally had my mammogram, bone density test and pap smear done. Just need to have the blood work done that the doctor ordered. I need to remember to be fasting. I forgot the first time I went.

8. We have spent the last couple of Saturdays getting the backyard shrubs and "butterfly trees" trimmed and plants cleaned up from the cold weather in Dec.

9. CA has finally gotten several rain storms in and more are on the way.

10. We are planning a trip to Las Vegas at the end of the month to celebrate with the Rowlands, Aidan and Liam's 6th and 4th birthdays! Nathan will be coming with us.

Hello, This is all new to me but I thought I would try blogging. I don't know why, just that the thought came to me and at the time it sounded like a fun idea since I enjoy my kids blogs so much. This blog ,I think will mostly be dedicated to my grandchildren and my picture taking. I will share what I am doing and the fun I have taking pictures especially of my grandchildren!!
