Disneyland December 6-7, 2022

Part 2 of our first day at Disneyland.

A Christmas Fantasy Parade

We walked back to our motel to get Allan's jacket and so I could change into a sweater under my jacket. 

It was a little cool and at night we needed a little more warmth.

Main street was beautiful with all the decorations and lights.

That evening we rode three more rides.

Disneyland December 6-7, 2022

Just the two of us spent a couple of days at Disneyland.

This is part 1 of the first day at the park.

First stop was,

 Star Wars Galaxy's Edge

It was an awesome land.

 I felt like I was walking around in the movie.

Allan rode the Rise of the Resistance first to see if I would be ok on it due to my motion sickness. He said I would be ok. So we got back in line and waited and the wait was so worth it. The ride is amazing. 

It is only at the end that I had to be careful. There is a small drop and then you are out in the battle. I had to keep my eyes closed but I did peek.

We rode it again the next day too.

Thumbs up for an amazing ride.

Our next stop was fantasyland so 

Allan could ride Space Mountain and Star Tours.

He also rode Thunder mountain.

Three rides I can't do. Allan did a lot of single rider lines.

 But we also did a lot of rides together.

Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters was one and I beat his score which was pretty awesome!! I had to brag!!!!

It's a Small World was so fun to see at Christmas time.

 

December Fun 2022

December 2nd

 we had enough snow that Allan got out his snowblower for the first time this year.

We finally got to enjoy the Festival trees again

 since covid shut everything down back 2020.

We enjoyed looking at gingerbread houses, Nativities, 

Christmas trees and wreaths. They also had a large display of quilts. 

Everything was for sale. And most everything was already sold.

All money raised goes to Primary Children's Hospital.

November Activities 2022

On November 5th

we attended Keira's Baptism.

Aidan, Keira and Liam

We spent Thanksgiving week in Aurora, CO

We helped Corey and Yoli unpack and get semi settled in their home.

We helped with the painting in the girls rooms.

Corey teaching dad the pokemon card game.

Another finished project,

Housewarming gift for Cory and Yoli.

 

September / October 2022

Keira invited us to come to Grandparents Day in Las Vegas.

October 16th

Another completed ceramics project.

We had fun at the Cowboy & Poetry gathering here in Heber City.

We got to attend the Paul Overstreet concert.

He had lots of fun stories to share about a lot of his hits songs he has written over the years for many country musicians.

Our first real power outage since we have lived here.

A winter storm which left our first snow in the mountains.
