Heber Valley Draft Horse Show October 1, 2021 Part 1

We were able to attend the Draft horse show here in Heber at the events center.

It was so fun to watch the competition.

This was a timed race. They had to "walk" to each station and pick up bags of gain and salt blocks.

September Happenings 2021

September started out sadly as my older brother passed away unexpectedly. 

We drove out to Iowa to join with my siblings and family along with Rob and Cindy's friends to celebrate Rob.

On our way home from my brother's funeral in Iowa we stopped in Aurora, CO to see Corey and family.

They have been house hunting for some time and decided on a new build. This is the lot they will be building on. They are very excited for their new home which should be ready next spring.

We have had some beautiful sunsets this month.

Jeremy invited me to go on the Heber Valley Railroad for the show tunes ride.

We listened to Broadway tunes and trivia.

BYU Vocal Point also entertained us with a few songs.

A Loving Celebration of Life for Robert F. McNutt December 28, 1954 - September 2, 2021

My Brother unexpectedly passed away on September 2, 2021

Most of the siblings were able to come to the funeral.

Allan and I drove out to Burlington, Iowa.

It was a long drive but well worth it to be with

Margaret came but stayed at the hotel because she was sick.

 and Wendy couldn't make it.

August Activities 2021

Here are a few things that happened in August.

We enjoyed the aquatic center here in Heber with some of the grandkids.

Lydia was Baptized.

Dad was able to take a flight in a Stearman biplane 

through Dream Flights.

He is 98 years old and loved it. 

Only complaint was that is wasn't long enough.

We attended Vintage Markets Days here in Heber.

My Hibiscus started to bloom this month!

The flowers are huge and beautiful!
