June Happenings 2022

I finally finished the diamond art I was making for Christmas/birthdays
for Terri and Kerri. I had them framed and delivered/mailed to them.

I love when hummingbirds visit my feeder.

Some of my latest ceramic projects.

I rebuilt my Gnome garden.

My yard is beautiful with blooming flowers.
The peonies are some of my favorites.

We went to an Antique Power Show in Wallsburg which is close to Heber.
They had lots of buildings to look at and walk through.
Trucks, cars, motorcycles, tractors, A "town" with buildings to look at, like a print shop, shoe shop, blacksmith, sawmill, church, military display etc..It was fun to walk around and look at everything.
They also had a tractor power pull.

May Stuff 2022

On May 6th, our anniversary, we attended a community play that we thoroughly enjoyed. Lots of fun and laughter.
We have seen some amazing plays here in our beautiful valley.

Some of the flowers we are now enjoying in our yard.

We planted a Canadian Red Chokecherry tree.
The leaves start out green and then turn a reddish purple throughout the growing season.

This is a primrose which I thought was an annual plant. But it surprised us and survived the winter and is now blooming beautifully.

I love seeing birds at my bird feeders outside my kitchen window.
House Finch-female

House Finch-male

American Robin
They discovered my water bath this year, and come everyday for a bath. Both the male and female.

Eurasian Collared Dove
(yes the birds make a mess with my feeders)

New to my feeders this year.
Lazuli Bunting

House Sparrow

Another new bird to my feeders this year.
Black Headed Grosbeak

On May 15th I went out to bring in our flag and I thought the moon looked odd.
Then Allan came up and said there was a  moon eclipse happening.
I got my camera and we watched for awhile.
