Golden Gate Bridge October 7, 2017

We wanted to walk across the Golden Gate Bridge before we moved to Utah.
So on Saturday, Allan and I walked the Golden Gate Bridge. It is 3.4 miles round trip. It was a beautiful day to walk across the bridge. The traffic and crowds seems a bit more busy then usual and then we realized it was fleet week in San Francisco. The bay was filled with sail boats and there was an airshow going on the whole time we were walking the bridge. It took us quite a while to walk across to Vista point because we kept stopping to watch the planes and jets performing. Allan says I can now check it off my bucket list. First I will have to add it to my list then mark it off. HaHaHa..

The bay filled with sail boats and that is Alcatraz Island.

 A view of San Francisco.
If you look closely you can see the Canadian Snowbirds above the city.

This plane was part of the Canadian Snowbirds.
There were 10 total during their performance.

 Alcatraz Island

Another view of San Francisco

 The Patriots Jet Team.

It was cool to watch a container ship come into the bay.

We were guessing that maybe this was a wooden sail boat because of the way it was painted.

This is Vista Point.
Now we just need to walk back across the bridge.

 The Blue Angels.
They passed over the bridge many times during their performance.
It was really cool to be on the bridge during that time

America's Freedom Festival part 2 - America's Freedom Balloon Festival July 4, 2017

On July 4th we got up early (5:30am) to get down to the Balloon Festival and get good seats for viewing the balloons.
It was really fun to watch as all the balloons were inflated and got ready to take off for the activities.
